Overview

FV Cloud is a private cloud storage application built on Nextcloud. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the FV Cloud mobile app and any associated services.

Short version: FV Cloud does not collect, store, or share your personal data. All files and data are stored on your chosen server — not ours.

Data We Collect

The FV Cloud app itself does not collect any personal data. Specifically, we do not collect:

  • Your name, email address, or account information
  • Files, photos, or documents you store or sync
  • Usage analytics or behavioral data
  • Device identifiers or location data
  • Crash reports or diagnostic data sent to our servers

The app connects directly to the server you configure. Any data you upload or sync is transmitted solely between your device and your server.

Where Your Data Lives

FV Cloud is a client application — it does not operate its own storage infrastructure. All your data resides on the Nextcloud-compatible server you connect to, whether that is self-hosted or provided by a third-party hosting provider.

The privacy practices of your chosen server provider are governed by their own policies. We encourage you to review those separately.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your data with any third parties. There is no data for us to share — FV Cloud has no access to your files or personal information.

We do not use any third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or tracking services within the app.

Security

FV Cloud supports end-to-end encryption for your files, ensuring that only you and the people you authorize can access your data. All connections between the app and your server are made over HTTPS.

Since we do not store your data on our systems, there is no central database that could be compromised through us.

Children's Privacy

FV Cloud is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since FV Cloud collects no personal data from any user, this applies equally to users of all ages.

Your Rights

Because FV Cloud does not collect or store your personal data, there is no data held by us to access, correct, export, or delete. Your files and data remain entirely under your control on your chosen server.
